经中共天津市委同意，国家新闻出版总署批准，天津日报报业集团再次策划推出精品，在《天津青年报》的基础上，一份以高品质、城市化、全新闻为办报诉求的日报……《城市快报》于2004年3月1日清晨全新面世。依托津报集团报业航母，《城市快报》以现代办报理念、全新操作手法以及一支年轻而富有新闻激情的采编营销团队倾力投入天津日益繁荣的媒体市场，为天津的文化产业再添新的亮色。

25、前卫性的灵魂是个性化

——在《假日100天》骨干员工会议上的即兴讲话（2001年11月11日）

2001年，作者再一次瞄准天津报业市场的空白点，定位于时尚娱乐休闲，创办了天津第一张时尚类周报《假日100天》。该报于2001年7月31日试刊，8月8日正式创刊。试刊号7万份、创刊号10万份都在一两个小时内被抢购一空，报纸一炮打响。该报紧密联系市场，采取全新的报纸运营模式、资本介入媒体的公司化运作，靠品牌赢得市场，橙色风暴一纸风行为天津报业市场创造了又一个奇迹。2004年6月，《假日100天》正式进军北京，在北京同步发行。

天津日报报业集团于2002年8月21日成立，现在拥有《天津日报》、《每日新报》《城市快报》三份日报，《假日100天》、《采风报》、《球迷》报、《车天下》四份周报，《蓝盾》、《新广角》两份期刊，以及《北方经济时报》、《新财讯报》、《天津政法报》，形成十报两刊一网的格局。同时还拥有四家股份制公司，一家教育学院。所办报纸最高期发量达150多万份。在传媒实力、经济实力等方面形成了一定规模，成为天津市场绝对的传媒航母。

天津日报报业集团社长兼总编张建星简介

张建星，男，山西忻州人，1958年3月15日生于天津。1983年秋毕业于天津师大中文系。同年分至天津日报社工业部作记者。一年半后任记者部主任，30岁进入编委会。先后被破格评为主任记者、高级记者。1995年任副总编辑，同年被评为国务院有突出贡献中青年专家。1997年中央党校中青班学习一年，1997－1999年中央党校法学研究生毕业。1999年3月任总编辑，2000年任社长、总编辑。2003年9月兼任天津市委宣传部副部长。

中国记协常务理事。天津市记协副主席。全国报纸自办发行协会会长。中国新闻摄影学会副会长。天津新闻摄影学会会长。天津市青联副主席。清华大学国际传播研究中心客座研究员。中国传媒大学博士生导师。南开大学文学院客座教授。天津财经学院MBA客座教授。新闻作品多次获全国好新闻及中国新闻奖一、二、三等奖，十余次获天津市好新闻一等奖。散文及报告文学曾获全国奖。1994年获中国新闻界最高奖——第二届范长江新闻奖。
